RAINDROP THERAPY

Raindrop Therapy is a massage technique that applies carefully selected essential oils along spine to correct back pain caused by muscular tension and toxicity. Viruses and bacteria lie dormant along the spine, depleting the immune system, and eventually causing inflammation and misalignment among other problems. These powerful essential oils, known for their anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, work to correct many of the ailments suffered as a result of blockages in the nerves along the spinal column.

An eight-step technique, Raindrop, is used to apply the essential oil blends along the spine. Using a variety of hand to body techniques the oils are then massaged in after which towels are used to complete each application and help with absorption. Some of the benefits reported include:
  • Relieved stress and anxiety
  • Pain relief
  • Spinal realignment
  • Revitalization
  • Detoxification
The benefits can last for several days, weeks, even months.

Can Boost the Immune System

We all carry a variety of viruses, fungi and bacteria in the body. In a healthy body the immune system fights illness and keeps us healthy. When high stress, environmental factors, negative emotions (worry, anxiety, anger, depression) affect the immune system, illness can result. Note that the essential oils used in this technique should be administered by a professional and are not to be used neat or on children.

     The Raindrop Technique

A carrier oil is applied to the back then a specific group of powerful therapeutic essential oils are applied to the back in a sequence. They are then massaged along the spine. Gentle massage is applied to open the tissues and allow the beneficial essential oils to penetrate the body. Since the molecules of these oils are very tiny, they are able with the help of the carrier oil to penetrate the skin, be absorbed into the bloodstream and then are carried throughout the entire body.

Raindrop Therapy Sessions are a 'stand alone' therapy, and are not part of any massage session or reflexology session.  I recommend scheduling a session before a day off or weekend off. The session is very relaxing but due to the nature of the session, it is possible to have a slight healing crisis up to 72 hours after treatment.  Some people experience a de-toxing effect and need to sleep for a longer period of time, some may have a slight rash along the spine.
